i cant seem to start the server nor restart it? - whats the default command line details etc?

everything is in the config file :

-config=server.cfg -port=%serverport% -profiles=%userfilespath% -name=server -maxplayers=%slots%

 

you must have a server.cfg and a server profile. I suggest you read the arma wiki as this game will be a pain in the ass if you cant even get a server up. Hope you are aware that by default it takes 1 full core (100% CPU) per instance.

That is...unless you have the ubber skills that dimitrifrom has lol.

its just common sense to get basic infos about a game before hosting it and before charging customers. Even more if the game is tricky as you will get more support requests and wont be able to answer any if you arent familiar with the game.
