nick
Ok, im setting up a JKA mod server, the mod is MB2 (http://www.moviebattles.com), what do i have to upload?, the whole mod or just a few bits and pieces .. seconds of all, the server wont accept .dll files, im not exactly sure how to change this, im only a user and i dont think i have the privilages (power) to change this. Also for JKa , should i also download patch 1.01? Not 100% sure on the .dll problem but I think you can go to 'System Settings', 'Plugin Manager', select 'TC_FTPSERVER', and then check the 'Restricted Extensions' near the bottom. Make sure .dll is not in that list. You should definetly upgrade to patch 1.01+. If you use just 1.0.0 you will have frequent JKA server crashes and serious memory leaks. For example, A 12 man server running 1.0.0 JKA will use 1.8gb of RAM if left up for long periods of time. It will bring the machine to it's knees even if noone is on the server. As far as the mod goes, you need to first make sure the mod installs and runs fine. This means every file that the mods requires to run properly. Then take all the mod files, zip them up (maintaining directory structure), place them in the TCA.Mods directory, and setup a Command Line Switcher Option. Thats very basic instructions, so I recommend reading the manual for some better insight. tcadmin.pdf
