CrimsonGT
Apparently some new game servers are having issues when being allowed to free float, and using a considerable amount of CPU due to this just while idling. All of our other game servers are allowed to free float, but since assigning this server to a paticular core apparently stops it from eating up CPU, would it be an issue to assign it to individual cores while everything else floats? TheHeartSmasher
You can do this for the gameservers that have take more then their fair share. Some new games are built to utilize all available cores, which increases the performance of the gameserver when the slots start getting filled up. trancemode
I guess it really depends on the type of games. Some games are single core support only while most of today new games will use multi-core support.
