deltahost
Hi, I am attempting to run a certain server (SA-MP). However it requires to be started with admin privileges. I have change the TCadmin windows account to admin status and disabled UAC but it doesnt seem to work. Is there an option in the config that allows servers to be run under admin? thanks. deltahost
Basically what I get is an Interactive Services Detection message popping up that I have to click on view the message and give the servers secondary file (announce.exe) permission to start. Is there any way to go around this as I don't want to have to do this for every client as its pointless. This is what happens on RDP: http://i53.tinypic.com/2hwiovr.png So heres my question. How do I fix this.
DougK94
Uncheck the "Always ask before opening this file"?
deltahost
But that will only save the settings for that specific gameserver. If i make another one the same thing happens and I dont really want to have to be doing that for every server I make.

dimitrifrom31
google is your friend, found this in 5 seconds : Registry Option HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Attachments\SaveZoneInformation Change SaveZoneInformation to 1. NOTE: 0 = Not Configured 1 = Enabled 2 = Disabled --------- .... and ... --------- Group Policy Option (Run... gpedit.msc ) Group Policy > User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Attachment Manager. Enable "Do not preserve zone information in file attachments". .... no reboot required. that was for XP SP2 but might work for your os else just google it.
