xpertservers
Hey, I just got TCadmin setup and cannot seem to get it to start in versus mode. What would be the correct command line/server.cfg to force it to start in versus? Thanks, Mark

xpertservers
Hi, After doing some testing.. Create a Versus.cfg in the same folder as where the Server.cfg file is. (Normally L4D2/left4dead2/left4dead2/cfg Add this map c1m1_hotel versus //Force server into versus mode Save file. Make sure this exisits in TCadmin under the template for Left4Dead 2. "Display name: Versus config" "Path: left4dead2/cfg/Versus.cfg" (was my path at least) Click template file and put in map c1m1_hotel versus //Force server into versus mode Now my command line looks like this: -console -game left4dead2 -ip %serverip% -port %serverport% -nohltv +maxplayers %slots% +map c5m1_waterfront +exec Versus.cfg That's all you need now any servers created by default will now be forced to in versus mode. Left4Dead2 will always load server.cfg so there is no reason to put this in the command line. Do not put the map command in the server.cfg or else it will create a loop as the server loads server.cfg at each map start.
