Steam Content servers

Hey guys iam trying to DL the css server files but frick they are taking forever

 

Just wondering if anyone else is experience the same thing

Steam servers seem fine for me, maybe just a slow period?

nah, i know what he means. it's slow for me too.

when updating our tf2 servers (when updates come out), it takes for ever. seems there is a longggg stall after the popup comes up.

With our gbit connection it still takes almost 30 mins (it seems) for the 7 servers to update.

 

I'm trying to find a way to update a local copy of a server, then have the other servers update from the local copy.

This would fix my issue with steams slowness and having to update more than 1 server.
