Admin-Nation-Servers
WHMCS is a billing system~ the module is used to automate / process orders to send to TCAdmin to create services There are two well known addon modules for WHMCS to integrate TCAdmin's API: One which comes with WHMCS (closed source code): Tcadmin And one that is available for download here (Open source code): Tcadmin_advanced http://clients.tcadmin.com/downloads.php

Admin-Nation-Servers
Yes you need to purchase a license to be able to use WHMCS Billing Software. WHMCS is a separate entity from TCAdmin. Go to: WHMCS Billing CP The version requirement just states that it (The addon) was made for versions of WHMCS above 3.7.2 Basically the addon that TCAdmin is providing (Free of Charge) is a method of linking up both systems (WHMCS & TCAdmin) in order to sell a service and process the order from WHMCS to TCAdmin for service creation & management. WHMCS is used to manage billing and orders TCAdmin is used to manage accounts/services TCAdmin_Advanced is used to connect both WHMCS & TCAdmin together.
