Chegy
Hi guys, well this is the situation: My main server runs on Linux, and i have some servers that are remote running on Linux also, but now i tried to add a windows server 2008 R2 (did everything by the instructions) I get this error when i try to crate a game on the windows server: System.Net.WebException: Error: ConnectFailure (Connection timed out) ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: Connection timed out at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Connect (System.Net.EndPoint remoteEP) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at System.Net.WebConnection.Connect (System.Net.HttpWebRequest request) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.EndGetRequestStream (IAsyncResult asyncResult) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetRequestStream () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke (System.String method_name, System.Object[] parameters) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 And also i get this error: Error: ConnectFailure (Connection timed out) Cos this is the first time i wanna add a windows server to TCAdmin and by the looks of it I think its something with .Net 1.1 but im not shure if it is the Windows server, maybe its the Main server. Any ideas? Appreciated any help or suggestion.
raytrax
You can see System Requirements in wiki/help page Windows Windows XP SP3, Windows 2003, Windows 2008, Windows Vista, Windows 7 (32/64 bit) Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 On Windows 2008 R2 install from Administrative Tools > Server Manager > Features WinPcap(for bandwidth monitor) On Windows XP/2003 it is recommended that you disable Dr. Watson How to disable or enable Dr. Watson for Windows And you add ports to the Firewall: Default Ports Used by TCAdmin Windows Web/Monitor 8880, 8881 TCP FTP 8821 TCP FTP Passive Mode 5000 to 5100 TCP And finally, free trial license only accept 2 remote servers. See the wiki, have enough information: http://help.tcadmin.com/Main_Page Edited August 17, 2012 by raytrax add url
