I am confused what to put for this:

 

Relative Root Directory: gmod/?

Fast Download URL: /gmod?

Files to Sync: ?

Excluded Files: ?

 

for a Garry's Mod server.

 

My directory is: /home/tcagame/admin/1/orangebox/

 

I have read the help page and I am still confused.

 

Does TF2 need FastDL?

Login to TCAdmin

 

Systems > Games & Other Voice Services > Garry's Mod If you're using Windows on your dedicated server click the window's one.

 

Enable Fast Download

 

This is what I have in mine

 

Relative Root Directory: orangebox\garrysmod\

Fast Download URL: $[FastDownloadBaseUrl]

Files to Sync:maps/* -r;models/* -r;materials/* -r;sound/* -r;addons/* -r;

Exclude Files: *log;*.exe;FastDownload.db;*.txt;*.cfg;server.cfg

 

Tick Sync automatically

Tick Compress files and have it as a bz2 format

You can have Sync when service is created but it takes forever to install, I do services myself.

 

Do you have your Fast Download set up in File Servers?
