Difference between Windows and linux resource useage

I was shocked at the difference between the 2 of them

 

Here is Windows Server

X1 CSGO Server running SM+MM that was using 263.00megs ram

 

 

 

This is linux Server VPS mind you just testing tcadmin on linux to get the hang of it

Why would you be shocked? Windows has a GUI and your linux distro is all shell.

When i was doing my testing on Win 2003 and Centos 5/6, the win server was using less resources then the none GUI Centos. Both where new installs of the OS, with full updates and all system requirements for TCAdmin.

Anyway, windows server did not load the GUI 18 times for 1 game server, he load the Explorer one time, so, the story of GUI is not acceptable.

 

Personally, I have 64GB of RAM on my machine, and 24Coeurs, it does not bother me, but it is indeed strange that on windows server minecraft eat more ram than minecraft linux.

 

However, I noticed that on Windows Server 2008R2, GUI and the rest of apps use more than memory and CPU compared to Windows Server 2012

Is it real that linux's servers uses less CPU than Windows' servers?
