Game Server + TS3 Server

HI guys,

I've been reading a few threads trying to piece together how to allow the option of a customer choosing a game through WHMCS check out but also there is a drop down for TeamSpeak.

SO for example you have the field where the user chooses their slot number and under/above that is Teamspeak3 with your different slot options for that, one being "No thanks"

I have played around with:

- Configurable Options creating the slot list/price for TS3.

- Adding that Configurable Option to the specific game.

- adding 'TEAMSPEAK3' to the Voice ID

- Adding my created TS3 slots config'd option to the 'Voice Slots' options

When I test it however It gives me an error if I chose 'No Thanks' - something about it not being a valid variable, which is fair enough but adding something like '0|No Thanks' doesn't work either.

What option can I put before the " X |No Thanks" to indicate not to create a TS3 server - What am I doing wrong?

Cheers

Sean.

Your welcome.

You may still want to dig thru things and make sure it didn't create a Virtual server with 0 slots. If it did, you should report via ticket/bug forum so that we can get comment on correct process.

Checked and confirmed, no TS3 servers with 0 slots - thanks again icekohl.

Regards

Sean.

Funny you say that I've found in the logs this error:

Task: Determine voice server location, MC 200 slots, TeamSpeak 0 slots owned by fpstest [ New Window ] [ Info ]

Error - Specified argument was out of the range of valid values. Parameter name: SavedSlots

It's not creating it however, not from what I can see in the TeamSpeak3 viewer.

Ya, kinda figured it was going to still try and create a Virtual. Although this is a usable workaround for the moment I'd still try to get comment from Luis. Other thought is that you just default it to 1,5,10 or whatever and eat the cost. Hard paying out of your pocket for something a client doesn't want/need in the first place but if you're anything like me and try to squash every bug you come across then this may be the best option.

I hesitate to suggest trying -1 as the outcomes could range from a solution to creating a virtual with max slots. At least your doing it in on a test account and can kill it quickly if it does go south, I am assuming you're doing this in a hidden package until it's sorted out.

Thanks icekohl for the guidance,

Yeah I'll leave it as a work around for now while I get a comment from Luis on this, tried the -1 it gave me the slot count for the gameserver which was high so that was an exciting few minutes while I rushed to kill the TS3 server :|:

I will see what Luis has to say and report back,

Cheers again icekohl.
