Hey Guys,

I guess the main thing I am proud of is the fact that we re-launched our business 1 month ago after a total rework of company Policy, Network, Hardware, Staff the list goes on.

We sold out a total of 4 times in 1 month, We had to go buy an additional 4 Dedicated Servers to be able to continue growing. All in all 1 month = £6k+ spent, however cost is something which im no longer worried about due to the new Management at RackGaming Services.

We are also developing our V4 website which is almost completed, Its already entered the coding stage, Basic but it does the job ;)

Sorry for adding my comments to an outdated thread, Just thought people would like to know.

Nice idea for a thread all the same.. shameless bragging. :)

- I'm proud to have so many other companies in the industry we claim friendship with; and all of the ties we've made from attending every hostingcon to date. (not to mention watching Steve Doyle run up Ian Andrusyk's bar tab in Vegas :) ).

- I'm proud to now have over 20 awesome people working with us now between Bloomington and our facilities (and glad the late night phone calls have decreased). These guys - http://photos.ubiquityhosting.com/ - have made the tough transition from a small business to a medium business over the past 6 months or so work beautifully, and make it even more fun to do what we do.

- I'm proud there are now 2x ARIN /20's and 18x Mzima /24's (12,800) IP's on our network, and to now be a part of public peering exchanges like http://www.chicagoix.net. I'm proud that we've begun to offer our own DDoS-protected network with RioRey.

- I'm proud to work with so many other great entrepreneurs as clients, be them small start-ups or companies larger than we are. I love being able to work with so many other great minds beyond just our 20 people towards mutual gain.

I think the main thing im proud of is after months of planning hardware/network/software setups and business plans that its all come together. All the company hardware is online and has a 100% uptime since launch in Feb, have had 0 problems with the software setups and network.

Also have a solid customer base that will keep the business rolling from month to month allowing expansion and growth.

Also proud in the relations that we have built with local companys. We decided to use local companys for things like our software licencing, network hardware sales etc to build up a relationship on a face to face basis rather than just email contact. Also have staff regually attending Microsoft events as luckly for us the Microsoft HQ is less than 1 mile from our offices.

The only area of improvement that we are focusing on now is our website, again we dont have coder skilled staff for this type of job and have to source out to freelance. So far 3 designers have taken the job and failed to complete. So we have taken the job in house and is taking alot longer than expected.

I'm just proud of everything we've been able to accomplish, the people and friends we have met along the way, and the business relationships we have created in the process.

I can't be very proud of independent achievements, because the moment I feel I'm ahead, I'll be 10 steps behind. Always thinking of tomarrow, and not what's been done today. Just looking forward and working your ass off!

I suppose it's my turn now.

I'm proud that I can offer my game and give the support that other companies lack because of just not being on the uptake. Also, for just getting in there and doing it I suppose; more a learning opportunity for me than anything. Never plan on going big. Purchasing my own hardware and colocating it was a big move I was proud of too.

/2 cents
