  1. I'm trying to put together a config for AA:PG but am running into issues. I can't seem to get the game to run outside of TCAdmin so I'm nowhere near ready to get it running in TCAdmin yet. I'm still working on that issue though. My question, and I hope someone can help, is how do you run AA servers if they require a new IP and use default ports? Do I need to use virtual servers or is there an easier way to do this that I'm overlooking? Also, the AA community has claimed that the servers will only run on default ports but I saw a post on these forums where someone was specifying ports via command line. I tried to do that but the server kept crashing. Is there a way to make AA:PG run on different ports? I know it's a lot of questions but hopefully someone can at least point me in the right direction. Any assistance is much appreciated.
  2. I am in the process of setting up v2 to import our v1. I have added the application to my existing IIS using the Classic .Net pool and verified folder permissions. Everything loads but instead of a login button there is a warning claiming the browser has JS disabled. If I use :8880 it loads fine and there are no issues. Does anyone have any ideas how I might fix this issue?
  3. I believe I have all the bugs worked out now. Custom command options for map selection aren't great but as far as I can tell it's the only way to do it with this game. Map name examples are: AOCKOTH-Arena3_P, so user would select AOCKOTH- command option then type or paste Arena3_P. This game uses steamcmd to update, and default ports are port (7777), port+1 (7778), query (27015). I have changed the query port to start at 37015 to avoid conflicts with other Steam games. Let me know if there are any issues or if you find a better way to do map selection on custom command line. Chivalry_ Medieval Warfare.txt
  4. I hate to dig up this old thread but it appears this is the only thread on this game. I used the config that was attached in the third or so post and everything seems decent with the exception of an error message and the server not working. The Warsow version is 0.5 and after the below error it hangs and there is no heartbeat. Anybody still offering this game have any workarounds or know what is causing this error? WARNING: Autoupdate is not available for unpure servers.
  5. The issue with the server not being created with a game server purchase appears to be fixed with the TCAdmin update. I'm still having issues with the hostname and passwords being ignored. Any ideas?
  6. Disregard my post about the crashes, it appears I was using an older beta version of Server Manager. After updating to the final version things appear stable.
  7. Thanks ECF I'll try it. Any ideas why it keeps crashing though?
  8. Where can I find the SM config? I've looked everywhere and I don't see a config anywhere. Also, I used remote desktop to change the user/pass and set a map and the server just repeatedly crashes. I've included a part of the log starting with the user/pass change. Is there any reason we have to use this Server Manager 2.0 or can it be setup just to run the dedicated server stock? Thanks for your assistance thus far HIS-MOTHER but this just doesn't seem to want to run. 9/24/2010 10:46:32 : Battlefield Vietnam Server Manager v2.0 beta 4e 9/24/2010 10:46:32 : Started under Microsoft Windows .NET Advanced Server Service Pack 2 (Build 3790) 9/24/2010 10:46:32 : Listening on 208.100.25.73:15667. 9/24/2010 10:46:38 : Couldn't start the server! 9. Ok, no matter what I try it appears that when ordering a game server it completely ignores the voice settings and doesn't create the voice server. Could someone help me figure out what's configured wrong?
  10. Any ideas on why it's ignoring hostname, rcon, and privatepassword? For now I've just removed them from the product page and just have the users specify it after the account is created but I'd like to figure out why it's not working.
  11. Ok, I know this is an issue with Battlefield Vietnam Server Manager 2.0. I still don't know how to configure it for automation when someone purchases an account. Any ideas?
  12. Ok, I've finally gotten it to work though there are still problems. By default it is using the %rcon% variable instead of %rconpassword% which is easy enough. But does anyone know what the variable for the voice hostname is? I know the game hostname is %hostname% but I want to allow the user to select a separate name for the server at purchase. Edit: I've been playing with the config and no matter what I try the hostname, superuser password (rcon), and privatepassword are always ignored on automation. After creating the server I have to login to TCAdmin and manually change these values. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix it?
  13. I have imported the config file for Battlefield Vietnam from http://clientforums.tcadmin.com/showthread.php?t=6329 when I attempt to create a server I get an error message and I'm unsure what it means or how to fix it. Couldn't start the server! Using the default Remote Console username and password is disallowed for an Internet server to prevent unauthorised access. Change the username/password on the Admin dialog page and try again. Does anyone know how to fix this?
  14. Thank you for the reply, I don't quite have time to test it yet but hopefully it works.
  15. I'm not sure what is the cause or if anyone can even help but I'm having trouble. I can manually create the server in TCAdmin but I'm not sure how to set it up under WHMCS with the tcadmin_advanced module. All of my game servers are setup under this module and work flawlessly but when I try to setup Murmur it doesn't work. I have tried putting it under the Game ID as well as the Voice ID. If I force it in WHMCS admin to create the server it copies the game files and starts the service but creates no entry for the user or game/voice server. The only way I can tell it is running is to remote into the server and check the processes. I haven't yet attempted to add Murmur to the existing game server products as I want to be sure it's working first. For now I just want to setup Murmur as a standalone product under WHMCS. I have made sure Murmur is allowed in the TCAdmin billing API. Any ideas?
