  1. If you want to mail me at: robshorland AT gmail.com with temp access credentials I can take a look with you. Best, Evil
  2. Thanks Guys, I'll take a look into that. I was unsure if there was existing TCadmin functionality I could utilize. Best, Evil
  3. Have you setup the mod in the game configuration? Then added the custom commandline for it? It will then appear in the selectable commandlines after the mod is installed. For Example: If you setup a mod pam-v1 with the relevant commandline in its config, then setup say AWE-v3, again with its custom commandline configured you will have a choice of both commandlines available to you after you have installed both of the mods to your gameserver from the Mod Manager. You can of course extend this further with the use of Custom Commandlines and configuring custom variables for them. Hope it helps, Evil
  4. Hi All, Have any of you made any progress with having TCadmin create rules in IPtables when new services are created/changed/moved/removed? Currently by default TCadmin is not setup to configure IPtables rules for FTP and game services, but I understand this could be implemented using the "Custom Scripts" feature. It would be useful to know what if any progress has been made by the devs and the community prior to me spending time covering what has already been done. Thanks All, Evil
  5. Yeh, I had exact same problem. Getting errors as per attached log when trying to run manually as Adam suggested. On a side note, would I be correct in assuming that you only need to update the master on TCAv2, then any updates needed are automatically pushed to any TCAv2 Slaves? Cheers, Evil #### UPDATE #### Rebooted the box after failed update and manually updated to 2.0.54 and it all went through fine on the commandline. There do appear to be issues with the webupdater at the moment. 2.0.53UpdateErrors.txt
  6. Folks, Have any of you had any experience with mod_mono? I personally haven't and would like to have apache handle the tca frontend, so that I can use proper subdomains, mod_rewrite, .htaccess, etc without having to deviate too far from a conventional LAMP setup. I do really like TCA2 and I'm sure there is nothing wrong with the .Net stuff in general, but it is aimed at windows OS and I simply don't have the time or sufficient interest to learn/mess-with .Net as I will never have to look at it for anything else in my life. I hope maybe mod_mono mentioned above could provide a way of bridging .Net to apache so we are not stuck with this port:8880 nonsense - And NO iptables really is not the way. Maybe there are simple ways to achive what i'm after with Mono/.Net but I am not familiar and will not be drawn in to it as I am a client and not a Dev. Dev team, you have what is shaping up to be a very nice product in TCAv2, please keep up the good work and bear in mind that much of the point of developing a v2 was to have it cross-platform from what I have read in this forum. I do hope you may be able to contribute to this thread. Best, Evil

  8. Thanks for the tip Dimitri, i did not think of trying it from a batch. Is directX needed for server? I don't remember ever needing it on Linux server, but my memory is terrible. I think I have found 2 problems: 1. The install/uninstall scripts are not working for COD2, but the same lines are working/creating rule in win firewall for CounterStrike: Source, which is weird?! I am using the following rules from TCadmin KnowledgeBase: Install: netsh firewall add allowedprogram "%gameserverexe%" %serverip%_%serverport% ENABLE Uninstall: netsh firewall del allowedprogram "%gameserverexe%" What's strange is that the rules work fine for CSS, but not COD2. 2. Even with Win Firewall disabled the game is still not visible in lobby although TCadmin reports it as "Running". I assume the game has either not started correctly or crashed. I am starting to think maybe my TCadmin COD2 config is bad maybe, does someone have a good one I can import please? UPDATE The game does start from a batch file, but I must disable windows firewall for it to get through. When I try to run it through TCadmin it still does not work and the console is not available so I can't see what's up!!! My best guess is that my imported config template for COD2 (attached) is bad. UPDATE UPDATE Hmmm, strange. . . I reinstalled TCadmin and now all is working fine! That's great. I don't know how it's made a differance because all of the settings were identical, perhaps something didn't register correctly 1st time around. The only thing I have not working now it the interact with console feature, which would be handy. Any further help on the console issue would be appreciated, I am on Steam: Dr Evil [34th] Cheers, Evil COD2.txt
  9. Hi, Just a few pointers re cod2 and 4 setup please. I have read ALOT now and a couple of silly things seem to be getting in my way. I am unable to get TCadmin's "Interact with Console" feature working despite turning on the service in windows (2008r2), restarting the game server instance which has it checked to be allowed and logging into to remote desktop with /admin at the end of my connection line?! So I am unable to see what is going wrong. TCadmin's "Monitor" is running in "Service" mode and I am usure of how to quickly change the service mode or infact wether it is actually needed for the Interact with console to work. So far I have uploaded a cod2 .iso and installed the game via setup.exe, specifying C:\GameInstalls\COD2 as my installation path. When I create a cod2 game server it does not appear in cod2 game lobby and I am ubable to trouble shoot with a console. Sorry if I am being a bit thick, but this is getting a little frustrating now as I have setup many dedicated servers and never had any problems. I am just unfamiliar with TCadmin. Thanks in advance, Evil:p
