  1. Yea, but I configured the master server to use a remote DB.
  2. Strange. When clicking on Remote DB Connection i get the error: Remote DB connections is not supported by SQLite. The checkbox is on enabled but everything else i greyed out.
  3. Due to political issues with MySQL and debian/ubuntu support, would it make sense to support PostgreSQL in the future? https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-devel-discuss/2012-February/013242.html
  4. I'm using direct connection to the MySQL db. This is what the Monitor log say: 02/07/2012 13:27:02 System.Web.Services System.Net.WebException: The request failed with HTTP status 401: No license key has been configured.. at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall) at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters) at TCAdmin.GameHosting.SDK.Web.References.ServerUtilities.ServerUtilities.ConfigureGameAccount() at TCAdmin.GameHosting.Monitor.Service.Start() 02/07/2012 13:28:42 TCAdmin.SDK System.Exception: The server with id '2' does not exist. at TCAdmin.SDK.Objects.Server..ctor(Int32 serverId) at TCAdmin.SDK.MonitorConfiguration.get_ThisServer() at TCAdmin.MonitorLib.Ԗ.Ԝ(MonitorMode ԝ) When disabling the firewall on the remote server and checking version on master, it says: Error: ConnectFailure (Connection refused)
  5. I've just setup a new TCA 2 master server on debian and added a new game server. However, in the monitor console i get the following error after done configuring: TCAdmin - The Game Hosting Control Panel System.Exception: The server with id '2' does not exist. at TCAdmin.SDK.Objects.Server..ctor(Int32 serverId) at TCAdmin.SDK.MonitorConfiguration.get_ThisServer() at TCAdmin.MonitorLib.?.?(MonitorMode ?) Service manager seems to be running fine. Any ideas on how to solve this issue?
  6. Oh i believe i now what's wrong. The query port is probably not matching since it's already taken but not set via tcadmin. How do i change the query port in RO2? edit: on the dev forum they write the following: "Steam Port: by default this is 27015. If you change the Game Port this port is automatically updated. You can calculate your Steam port like this: Steam Port = 27015 + <Game Port> - 7777" Seems kinda bad if you already run hlds processes on the same instance
  7. yea i've set the compatibility to HL2 but i still get spam about the server being down and " Game server is not responding" when i click "more info". The firewall on windows is set to accept all connections for that process.

  9. Anyone got the query protocol working with RO2?

    Reseller options

Where do I assign a reseller package to a reseller role? Is it a missing feature atm? (Edit: found it when editing the specific user. Shouldn't this be accessed from roles instead?) Also, will it be possible to not expose any general settings, only create game services and run them? I get the current effect if I disable all the reseller options in that role, but when I try accessing "Create a game.." it gives me an error with "permission denied". This way I can give an account access to a whole dedicated machine.
  11. Would be nice to see the consumption of network resources in the widget. Another bonus would be to log these statistics and check them out under Server Management -> Servers. But on the other hand, perhaps it might be better to put dev. resources on other stuff than building a monitoring management system, or perhaps it might be the next big step. A total solution for game server management and monitoring.
  12. Will tcadmin 2.0 work with mumble (murmur) on linux os? edit: posted in the wrong forum. Can a moderator move it to Linux support?
