  1. I have them running, however had to install the entire game to the server of course. If they dont release dedicated files it will flop just like the last one.
  2. /dedicated_cfg=dedicated_cfg.txt /game_settings=MatchSettings/Nations/NationsBlue.txt /internet This is the recommend command line that I have used for along time. make sure you rename your main config file to dedicated_cfg.txt if its not already Good Luck!
  3. We still run a few but they are all colocation customers on small boxes and not shared customers they run the game right off their box. With a teamspeak and usually Bab Stats Its not worth the time and effort to become approved with Novalogic other than when a new game comes out.
  4. Correct it seems to do that yes, But I am trying to get our system to automatically write the Slots, The Game Name in the multiplayer.ini file and everytime I create a game none of that data is written to the file causing every install to have to be hands on to get it setup. Like the COD games when I install I do hostname and it uses the variable to write in the hostname the customer chooses without any interaction with the customer. But RFactor I cannot get to work. Its driving me crazy
  5. Ok, Weird issue with TCadmin and RFactor. I cannot get it for the life of me to write in the Hostname of the server when doing automatic install. I have %hostname% in where it is supposed to go In the Multiplayer.ini file I have the %hostname% setup properly and everytime I install it does not write the host name there and leaves it blank and so the server defaults to My Server as a server name Anyone have this problem before??
  6. I am working on the configs they are still kind of a bugger
  7. Ok So this is weird, Customer has the game loaded used the command line launch the game and the console shows no information and does not launch the game on Internet Mode. But minimize that instance and launch the icon again creating a 2nd server instance and the server launches you can then close the 1st server instance and the far cry2 server is up and working Again no firewalls are on but to me it seems the game is opening a port then the 2nd instance is able to get out because of the 1st server instance. Anyone else make any sense of this to avoid having to do this each time?
  8. Thats whats weird, I have no firewall running so a port issue shouldn't be coming into play. I do worry that the files came from steam but that shouldn't matter I wouldn't think
  9. Has anyone run into the issue where you get it setup you put the setting to Internet double click the icon to then see nothing in the console no data saying the server started etc. If I switch it to Lan mode it will run and the console will do what consoles are suppposed to do. Any help?
  10. Anyone able to tell me that you successfully have it hooked up using tcadmin and binding IP's with no problems so you can run Crysis Wars on a shared server ?? I am trying to avoid having to install the actual Crysis Wars to each server.. Anyone who has it worked my MSN is ryan@primarytarget.com I see people saying they have it working but it seems they mention installing the crysis wars first then doing tcadmin on the install. thank you for any help provided.
  11. Hey Extre238, If you are willing I love to see your configs so I can verify that I am going to run this the best most efficient way. If you have MSN or Xfire can you add me and I can see how you have yours setup. MSN = ryan@primarytarget.com XFire = Feltzpt Thanks
  12. But you did install the game on that server which means it had the proper registry entries for any folder to launch the game. If you were to install the files to a different server and trasnfer the files to a 2nd server you would not be able to make it work. That is the problem I am having
  13. So, I need to verify something to me it seems you can't run this game off a box just by transferring the files.. Has anyone been able to just transfer the required server files and input a command line in the target line of the shortcut created. Has TCadmin released a full config and instruction on how to get the Crysis Wars to work without installing the game on any server that uses it??
  14. Anyone come up with a working config for Crysis Wars ?? Anyone come up with a command line we can add into a shortcut to launch the dedicated server in windows 2003?
  15. The "more important" question is - does this game have Rcon ability?
  16. Looking for the command line parameter to set the server port. Has anyone located this?
  17. We have a couple servers running on Windows 2003 Standard SP2 with the Halo 2 DS update, but the hoops that we've had to jump through to get this going makes this game a bear to support with it's current format. You can get free silver live accounts, and you can "re-use" the key - we are still waiting for a reply from our Microsoft contact to determine the issues with that (beware)....... inserting Registry keys and re-registering DLLs are required. The #1 issue is the inconsistency with staying connected to LIVE - sometimes the server will connect - other times it will not. Blink and it's back.... I'm trying to replicate the install on a new box and see if I can create a fresh install and automate the registery/dll portion and then....pray..... More to come.
