Hey guys so i ran in to a little issue when i tried to update a clients Rust server oxide plugin, he had oxide amongst other plugins installed via the mod manager, an update came out for oxide, so i uninstalled the oxide plugin and reinstalled, and for some reason the rust server corrupted and would no longer start> is there an easy way to update mods for game servers?

Awesome stuff man

Hello, are you still available to assist with this?
-
Ah i see i guess the @ is for DayZ? i will give that a go, but at least we know its downloading, so thank you for that yeah sure just drop your discord and i'll add you on that!
-
Yeah it might be the mod, although i have tried another one called LTs Compass which is outdated, but someone commented saying it still works for dedicated servers, so not to sure if i have an issue yes inside the modlist is @LTs_Compass.pak and yeah if you wouldn't mind? do you have discord or something like this?

Hey! it is now working, or installing the mod to the correct folder at least, i tested with the mod Pippi but i think its broken due to new conan update as it said the server is not using mods, which is strange as i edited the modlist and the mod copied to the directory just fine. But appreciate all the help on this one! side note - the steam workshop downloader is very nice and easy for clients, however they cannot see the mods they have installed unless they FTP to there mods directory - same for removing mods, i guess they do the same thing?

So i have went to the conan config and added a steam account now when i run the script i am getting this https://imgur.com/l0mryxB its like its not finding the .pak file ?
-
Yeah its strange, i unticket that option and now this is my result https://imgur.com/FajOAxV it doesn't seem to be installing the mod i dont think i have set a user up for steam auth, but that should not matter? i dont understand this part C:\TCAFiles\Users\creid\43>C:\Windows\System32\xcopy /y /i C:\TCAFiles\Users\creid\43\\steamapps\workshop\content\440900\880454836\*.pak C:\TCAFiles\Users\creid\43\\ConanSandbox\Mods 0 File(s) copied File not found - *.pak thanks for the help btw!

Just a side thing to note, should it be Executing as the service's user?
-

Yeah its weird. Im using 2016, i figured it out, it requires the whole path C:\Windows\System32\xcopy /y /i %MODFOLDER%\*.pak %CONANMODFOLDER% I now see this error.. https://imgur.com/YJtNjWx
-
same message for xcopy.. so i guess i need to install that hehe
-
Alrighty, i have removed the @ also doo i just replace robocopy with xcopy ?
-
No problem i added it easy enough, this is what im getting when trying to test https://imgur.com/wJrV3w7

Hello there, i can now input the Mod ID and Name of mod. I will test the functionality of it. am i required to add modlist.txt to the /Mods folder
-
Here it is MODID Variable https://imgur.com/P3x3Vjt MODNAME https://imgur.com/kAjI27z Script https://imgur.com/DnXLrum As a side note this is the MODID first screen of the variable https://imgur.com/cGB7inD
-
Followed your instructions created a variable for MODID & MODNAME made a custom script exactly like yours. when i click on the Steam workshop downloader icon it just gives me a blank page https://imgur.com/7aChtsx No option to actually type the ID or Name
-
Thanks for this, as for the conan one, how does a client actually input the MOD ID?

Hello, I am currently using a slightly modified config as the one that came with TCA i am just wondering if anyone was able to get mods working? the steps i have taken before attempting.. I have chose Pippi mod as a test I subscribed to the mod so i can get the .pak mod file I added Pippi.pak to the TCA.Mods folder within the game files @ C:\TCAFiles\Games\conan\TCA.Mods went to my server files here C:\TCAFiles\Games\conan\ConanSandbox and created a new folder called "mods" within this folder is the modlist file that conan requires for mods. I have made this a configuration file and made the Rel path - ConanSandbox\mods\modlist I have setup 1 mod via Mod manager Pippi.pak in the settings i have the file to extract to \ConanSandbox\mods Pippi.pak installs okay, and when looking at the files Pippi.pak extracts to the mods folder, i then go into configuration files and edit the mod list with the mod name - *Pippi.pak that is how mods are configured for conan. BUT for some reason, when i try to connect to the server, it states that the server has no mods on it?

Hello there, I am running in to this issue with Conan, if i create a server The Inbound firewall rule is created for that server and the ConanSandBoxServer.exe is added to the programs to allow the directory it chooses is C:\TCAFiles\Users\CLIENTPATH\43\ConanSandboxServer.exe when looking up the server in steam servers, it cannot be found, however if i turn the firewall OFF, and research the server shows up and looks to be joinable any help would be appreciated
