  1. Not that I am aware of. You couldn't do that in v1 either. In the past I just used specific boxes for specific games. Slap the request into the request forum for v2 and see what Luis says... I don't know that many people are going to want that or find it a benefit but its possible.
  2. Don't believe this has been added to v2 yet. I am sure Luis will correct me if I am
  3. I know v1 blocked modification of specific limits..... maybe incorporate that as an optional limit to monitor...
  4. Go to the servers tab, then go into the server properties, then server ips, then edit the ips that you don't want to use. Simply un-check the appropriate box that would match not using the server for games. Note: You can also just delete the IP's your not using and then when you want to add them later you just have to import them again.
  5. Yes you can setup v2 to use 1 IP for 10 instances. When v2 installs the instances it will assign each instance its own unique port number. As for changing an IP later to a different one, you can but will need to change make sure you import the IP then manually edit the command line and or config file to use it. Now I don't know if v2 will have it automated to make all the changes without uninstalling it and manually creating a new instance on the new ip.
  6. Don't forget to add the port number at the end of url. (:8880). Is their any plans to remove the necessity of the port?
  7. I found that the 5.1 build was a simple install with the administrator took pack. For what its worth with v2 it works great and easy for those with little mysql background. You can still download it as well.
  8. As long as your comfortable with your VPS then you should be fine on the VPS. V2 runs very smoothly with little to no hicups on the master server/site.
  9. I was always under the impression that running the master server and games on the same box was a no no. It is possible but not recommended. (if thats partly what your asking) I have messed around with running masters on a VPS and as long as the whole machine is not overloaded then it works fine but if the box starts to load up then you will run into some bugs/problems.
  10. Um.... just like they said.... Have been using the WHMCS system vs 1 for a while as its incorporated into billing.
  11. I know in V1 you could change what files you allowed and not allowed on the box. I haven't dug into the ftp part of V2 yet. A good antivirus ap on the box would also help this issue out.
  12. The templates/themes are one in the same for v2. Your currently not able to move around the menus' if thats were you were going at with templates in v2. In WHMCS you have alot more control as to what is shown/seen once a client is logged in verse a visitor. In v2 you can create a theme with a logo, color scheme even modifying the header/footer if you like. But all of thats done within the theme.
  13. You can download the themes Luis put in the v2 forum, plus if you want you can access your templates from the General Settings > Themes area. You can create them, modify them, mess around with the header image and placement. Its quite easy to work with and modify.
  14. You cannot upgrade from v1 to v2. The game configs are completely different if that is what you mean. At this time you can only rebuild your game configs. The ones for v1 can't be imported.
  15. DOINK.... I should have recognized that ....
  16. Your looking for a modification from what I can tell to the Game Switching feature that was in V1? The only thing with offering this is you wont be able to offer immediate automation within your billing panel unless you have predetermined games you want them to be able to do. That make sense?
  17. I think Luis is working on some other parts of the V2 right now...
  18. I installed 2.0.3.0 on the linux box, and I ran the update to 2.0.9.0 and now the monitor on the linux box is not working at all.
  19. Ok, so I just added a another server to the mix, and its a Linux server. The monitor version needs to be updated from my base softy of 2.0.3.0. However their is no update button. Plus their is no way to start/stop the monitor as well as restart the server and or all services on that server. Unless its hidden the next update or I am having a brain cramp and need new specs...
  20. Are their plans to make this optional via the admin level? Being its a reseller module, its unlikely that they want to use the admin information vs their own, but it would be nice to just force them to use the smtp vs the admin.
  21. To follow up on this, if the Reseller uses the default settings, the emails will be sent from the Main account as it was set up for the reseller. Not from the users details that were setup when you created the reseller account. Is it possible to force v2 to read from the resellers credentials and not the owner of the v2 install?
  22. When a reseller logs into their account, and goes to setup the email. They can either leave it default or create their own. The question I have is, can I force them to use their own smtp settings? Secondly if they use the default i.e. my settings I have set up already for the main v2 install, will they be using my smtp server to send the emails out from?
  23. Is their a way to set a default theme for the resellers and only allow them to customize the header etc but not allow them to import themes? Should a client ask for a different theme, we would be able to add it for them on an admin level vs. allowing them to start jamming templates in? Thanx Steve
  24. Sorry you can scratch that I forgot to update from implicit to disable...
  25. I just updated to 2.0.08 and was updating my email settings, and when attempting to send a test email I get "the token supplied for the function is invalid" error. No, the email does not actually send.
