serenityservers
The game update tool is broken, pressing the button will post. ServiceId 607 - Stopping *IP*... ServiceId 607 - *IP* has been stopped. Initializing Steam... ServiceId 607 - Starting *IP*... ServiceId 607 - *IP* has been started. The process has completed. Nothing is actually updated. I have tried rebooting monitor and service manager, and resetting the SteamCMd installation.

zelatech
Does someone opened a ticket about this issue? What was the reply from tcadmin staff? Any ETA?
barrycarey
Can confirm same issue for us as well. For games that we have a custom Steam Update script it's working fine.
dimitrifrom31
Quote from Luis: A steamcmd update broke the update while running in service mode. Try with the monitor running in console mode. But he did not comment further and it works indeed but running all our monitors in console mode is not really an option...
Streamline Servers
Can confirm we had the same issue. We changed the 'STEAM Settings' to 'Execute as the service's user' which seemed to resolve the issue Example: Edited August 11, 2015 by Streamline Servers
LFA
The fix on v2 is to check "Execute as service's user" in the game's steam settings. For steam guard follow the instructions under "If Execute as service's user is checked in the game's Steam settings" http://help.tcadmin.com/SteamCmd#Activate_your_account_with_Steam_Guard The fix on v1 for now is to start the monitor in console mode. I'm trying to make it work in service mode.

goatboynz
Can confirm we had the same issue. We changed the 'STEAM Settings' to 'Execute as the service's user' which seemed to resolve the issue Shot for this everything works all good now. Does anyone know why this just started doing this now seams odd. Did steam do some kind of update to cmd or somthing. Can confirm 'Execute as the service's user' Works. Ninjadude101
This is not working on our end: If you use the "User per service" option in TCAdmin, you have to manually go and add the user group ("TCAdmin Game Users") to the TCAFiles\Users\SteamCmd folder. I just gave it full permissions like the TCAGame user.
KevinJ
On v2, I'm getting: FAILED with result code 65 Even after giving permissions
proclan
This not a fix it's more like a band-aid go in and edit server boxes and go through all the steam games and change the steam settings? it still does not work on every game.
