skittles
I am having problems with my new install of tcadmin on a windows 2008 server r2. Im setting up the mail settings and go to test and it sends mail, but never arrives to destination? Using Hostgator hosting with smtp settings and have tried both explicit and disabled. Tried ports 25 and 26 and 465 Nothing in the logs either to why it's not sending....and firewall is not blocking any tcadmin services.
Raizio
Any logs on hostgator's service that you can see?
skittles
yes I have an error log on HG but it's empty
skittles
And I will also add that I do not have an email error log file in tcadmin folder either. Tested default hostgator settings with Gmail and it works fine so it's not a mx issue or domain issue. skittles
Update, emails are sending but they take an hour or more. Using the exact same settings in my gmail are instant...
Raizio
I'd say check the send time/queue in tcadmin. if that's instant. Then it's definitely not tcadmin. If anything, this is worthy of an actual ticket with TCAdmin if the above is untrue.
