Master to slave time out.

So i have a master setup with a slave all working but 80% of the time when thy are talking to each other thy time out. Master to slave have a ms of around 280 could that be the prob?

Would i be better setting up 2 masters seeing as the slave is based in EU and master is NZ based. I see a lot of other gsp run a master in each place thy host aka one master in EU,USA and so on.

I would say the latency is the issue. You should setup a master in the NZ location for better performance.
