Storing of game files

Hello,

 

I recently started hosting game servers for my community and we have a pretty decent dedicated server. The problem is I am running ssd's and noticed that tcadmin saves copies of every game I install a server for.

 

My question: is it possible to disable that option? Make it so when I install a game server the files are downloaded each time from steam instead of copying the files.

Hey mate,

 

Try heading to the server configuration, then go to Game & Voice Settings.

There you have a checkbox with the title:

Keep a local copy of downloaded files

 

Try turning that off and see if it helps ya.

That option is not there, you are talking about going to "Server Management > Servers > Master > Game & Voice Settings" I don't see it there.
