TCAdmin fails to create the GameTracker banners for each server.

 

When the user manually tries to create the banner they see a message saying http://www.gametracker.com refused to connect.

And the browser console outputs Refused to display 'https://www.gametracker.com/servers/' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'deny'.

 

Is there a way to fix this issue?

No way to fix from our end. We have attempted numerous times to contact them, but they don't respond.

Might be possible in the future. Not sure why GT would respond to us.

 

They were the ones to initially reach out to us asking us to add the feature...

Gametracker rarely responds to inquiries, unfortunately.

Getting them to download updated GEOIP databases is like pulling teeth.

 

Plus one for getting your own system integrated though.

Gametracker is owned by Choopa, who own gameservers.com. You are essentially indirectly supporting a non-tcadmin host!

Could be something they can implement but I think having one directly integrated into TCAdmin so they don't rely on 3rd party services might be better since we might be able to theme the banners the way we want them.

We knew that when they approached us, but why not offer our clients a feature to use.

 

As far as a built in banner system, that would be a much larger project.

Banners are easy. Building a system to handle all the servers and then marketing that so people will use it is a big task.
