MYSQL cant connect

Alright so maybe im just blind or something XD

 

So while im installing TCA2 on my new box and getting it setup, i wanna use mysql vs sqlite ( so i can remote via home computer and do website templates etc and have it connect )

 

The issue im having is that no matter what information i put it says its "Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1' (10061): Authentication failed."

But yet i use the exact same Information for HeidiSQL and it lets me in fine no issues.

 

Ports Opened

usename and password Triple Checked ( And verified because i can login to the DB via HeidiSQL)

DB: is set to full ownership under "root"

Server: Tried 127.0.0.1 and Local host

if i try the external IP. i get. "Host 'WIN-7RDNKKL8MO9' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server"

 

This isnt my first time with SQL so im not a complete newb but this is driving me insane.

Hi, the current version doesn't support the new authentication in mysql 8. Update your server with this command:

"C:\Program Files\TCAdmin2\Monitor\TCAdminUpdateTool.exe" 2.0.140.4

 

That update adds support for MySQL 8. Connect to localhost or 127.0.0.1
