babylexa
When I go to create a Minecraft service, by default it sets up a Vanilla 1.16 server. I've looked every where and cannot seem to find a 'simple' guide on how to make it a forge server for version 1.12.2 so i can add mods. I am trying to make a Pixelmon server for me and my friends. Please help.
Dennis
Just upload forge and pixelmon to the server, start the server using the forge .jar file and everything should be good.
babylexa
This is something I'm not sure how to do. I've been asking around for someone to help me with a screen share maybe. I'm not these best with doing something through just a simple "just do this", I can never seem to figure it out.
Dennis
First, you need to install Minecraft Forge somewhere on your PC or on the server (and the proper version). Use the "installer" jar file, and install using java -jar <name of forge jar> --installServer After that, move the files to your server, overwrite any existing one. Upload Pixelmon mod into the /mods directory on the server. Change your servers commandline to start with the forge jar file (and not the installer).
