vinc718
I'm in the process of installing the Master Monitor and Web Server on my dedicated box. I'm on the screen where I need to pick a database. MySQL or Microsoft Access. I'd like to run MySQL cause it's better and faster, but I got a question. Can I run this MySQL database of a web server I own? I have whm and cpanel on this webserver. I can setup mysql databases in cpanel. Can I use this database to host the one needed for tcadmin? If so, please tell me how or if there is something about this written somewhere. I just need help putting in the information, on the tcadmin install program. Thanks. ECF
Yes, you can use a remote database if you like. You will need to fill in the information for the remote database in the setup program. Eg. database name, login info and remote address of the database. I think I saw your ticket that was put in last night. I will make sure someone answers it shortly.
