that is all. I have done nothing to make this occur. It started happening after i made a call of duty game server.

I think you may find it is going to be an issue with the dual network cards that you have and the default IP set within TCAdmin. Internal security within TCAdmin disallows IP addresses that are not in the list. So if your server starts sending commands out from another IP assigned to the other card, it may cause problems.

ok. disabled one card works like a charm now. i hope this is the last problem/question i may have.

As you may know call of duty runs on a console. To start a server normally you have to run the normal call of duty multiplayer then click start new server and enter all the settings manually. But there is a way to start a server without doing all that. All you have to do is make a config and put it into the call of duty main folder. I named it default.cfg. Then you create a new shortcut on your desktop(or wherever you want it). you point it to the standard codmp shortcut. After that you change the shortcut properties for example, This is standard,

"C:/callofduty/codmp.exe"

this is what i edit it to so it will start in console,

"C:/callofduty/codmp.exe" +set dedicated 2 +exec dedicated.cfg

i made a shortcut like that in my cod folder that i was wanting to run cod out of. Then i went into tc admin and tried to make it run cod from the shortcut that i had made and edited. But it wasn't there. My standard unedited shortcut was there. Is there a way that i can run the standard shortcut and make it also +set dedicated 2 +exec dedicated.cfg? or is there a way that i can unhide the edited shortcut?.......

sorry it is such a long and somewhat confusing message :D

You are overcomplicating it :)

Gather your default install files for Call of Duty. What you would normally install a gameserver with.

Place those files in C:\GameInstalls\COD directory, keeping any sub-directorys such as /main intact.

Login to your panel and click the Create a Game and Voiceserver icon.

Choose the server to install to, choose the game type (in this case Call of Duty) and fill in the hostname, IP, slots and rcon password. You can also create a new user at this point as well, or you can assign it to a pre-existing user as well choosing from the pulldown list.

Click the install button and off it will go and install the server for you.

Goto system Settings>Servers and click on the Master Server in the list.

On Server details page look for the "Game Files Path", and make sure it is set to C:\GameInstalls

Next from the main menu goto System Settings>Supported Games and click on the COD config. In the details page look for the field called "Game Files Folder Name" and make sure it says COD in it.

If you are still stuck, put in a ticket at http://esupport.tcadmin.com with your login info, and one of us will take a look at it for you.
