NRTServers
I am having a little issue trying to get FTP access for clients from there control panel. All are classified as users and fields inside the user fields are set to FTP in permissions, But when they click on the FTP line...it goes to a blank page..I have looked for resolution and forum post about this but as of now havn't figured it out. Thanks Dave NRT Servers http://www.nrtservers.com
ECF
If you are referring to the FTP link in the client side panel, windows XP forewall and or defender, and other anti-virus software blocks FTP on client machines often times. Have them try using a standalone FTP client program like Filezilla or SmartFTP.
NRTServers
What I am asking about, Is on the new servers, it works the way it is suppose to, if you click on the ftp link from a control panel it opens a browser and askes for a user and password. On the older servers I have, it will not do that. is that the way that the servers are set up is I guess what I am asking. The 4 new servers do not have IIS running on them where the older ones do. ECF
Try removing IIS from one of the older ones (if you don't need it for anything else) and give it a try.
