I submitted a support ticket because I keep gettin an error sayin "can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost'"

The admin responded that I try turnin off firewall but it didnt work and asked if I had mysql and I said I had microsoft sql server

He said :

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Our software runs with an Access database, or MYSql database server. It does not work with Microsoft SQL server.

I would suggest installing by creating an Access database, as that will require no other software to be run on the machine.

Can anyone help me do that I don't have a clue how to.

Are you actally running a database?

You dont want to run a Access database anyway, run mySQL.

Install Mysql from http://www.mysql.com and follow any online instructions you can find.

Its not hard just google > mysql installation tutorial.

Set up your user account and root password then enter that into tcadmin.
