Chris71288
I submitted a support ticket because I keep gettin an error sayin "can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost'" The admin responded that I try turnin off firewall but it didnt work and asked if I had mysql and I said I had microsoft sql server He said : -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our software runs with an Access database, or MYSql database server. It does not work with Microsoft SQL server. I would suggest installing by creating an Access database, as that will require no other software to be run on the machine. Can anyone help me do that I don't have a clue how to.
kalyse
Are you actally running a database? You dont want to run a Access database anyway, run mySQL. Install Mysql from http://www.mysql.com and follow any online instructions you can find. Its not hard just google > mysql installation tutorial. Set up your user account and root password then enter that into tcadmin.
ECF
You stated you were trying to use MS Sql Server 2005. Our product does not work with it. If you watch the following movie file it will show you how to install using Access. Keep in mind, you do not have to have MS Access installed on the machine itself. http://tcadmin.com/onlinehelp/admin/access.htm
