ECF
Please find below what you will need to run the TCAdmin trial on your server(s) 1. At least one dedicated server. We will not offer trials to anyone who thinks they can run this on their home machine. The server must be dedicated and located in a datacenter, not on a home cable connection. 2. You will need one of the following operating systems. Windows 2000 Server (All versions) Windows 2003 Server (Standard or Enterprise Editions) Windows XP Professional 3. Windows Internet Information Services (IIS) version 5.0 or higher. 4. Microsoft .net Framework 1.1 or higher installed on the server(s) you plan to run TCAdmin on. Please be advised that we will NOT provide web hosting accounts for trial licenses. NO exceptions If you don't have a server which can run the above requirements then please do not apply for a trial key. The trial license allows you to run (1) Master TCAdmin Server and (2) Remote Game Servers. The master server is used to host the webpages and database and must have Microsoft IIS installed. You have 2 choices for database format. 1. MySql, which will require that you have MYSql server running on the master server, or Microsoft Access which is installed as a simple BD file on the server by the install program. We ask that if you do not have the proper hardware and software to run the trial, please do not ask for one. [/b]
ECF
In addition to the above hardware and software requirements I would like to take the time to again post that TCAdmin is not a point and click solution as some may think. You will need the proper game files for the game(s) you wish to host, along with a working knowlege of all the games you plan to host. Basically you need to know how to setup a server from scratch without a panel, and know how to support it. If you don't have this hosting knowlege please do not waste our time and yours. While TCAdmin will automate many key features of game hosting, it will not run your company for you. TCAdmin will not teach you how to host games. Support is limited to questions regarding the software not how to host games that you know nothing about. Please keep this in mind before ordering or requesting a trial key.
