403 forbidden error

I have installed the trial, and everything seems to be running fine, except when I try to login using the default info, I always get back a (403) Forbidden error.

 

I can't login.

It sounds like your permissions are wrong either in IIS or the tcadmin website but since you used the installer for the tcadmin it would have configured the website for you so most likely your IIS permissions are wrong somewhere.

Yup. The TCAdminweb user does not have proper permission to access the folder.

how do i fix this? (sorry for the noobishness...i'm a linux guy...i've never ran websites one iis/windows)

Right click on the C:\Program Files TCAdmin COntrol Panel\Web folder and goto the security tab, and make sure the TCAdminWeb user has rights to it.

I have done this...I am still receiving the 403 error.

It was funny I had this for the first time the other day.

It was right after I changed the Domain Controller policies and DNS settings. I just stopped ISS, then restarted the whole server and it resolved.

We were trying to run this off of my business partners machine at his house, for demo purposes. We like the Demo's on the site of TCAdmin, so we just forked out the bucks and ordered us a server, just to test TCAdmin on.

 

This will be running Windows 2003 instead of my partners XP.
