Kuwl
I was wondering if there was a way to block brute attacks on our control panel. We've noticed a TON of attacks on our control panel and someone is trying to brute force their way onto our panel. Just wondering if TCAdmin had a way to stop this. Thanks
DougK94
I just monitor the logs and add them to my firewall most are FTP attacks rather than control panel logins.
ECF
Update to Version 1.0.2737.22278 - Added brute force detection to the web login and ftp. After 10 invalid logins the ip will be banned for 15 minutes. When an ip is banned a message is saved to Web.Security.txt for web logins and Monitor.Security.txt for ftp logins. Kuwl
After I dug further into my logs I found it and forgot to update this thread :-P. And yes, most of them are ftp accesses, its just a never-ending barrage of attacks though :-|. Our log file is 42 MB big. Time to clear it out :-P. Is anyone else being hit like this?
