vinc718
Hi, Before the 2.8.2 patch, all my game servers created and run through tcadmin were Authorized. Now, none of them are. Does anybody else have this issue? I read tons of forum posts and solutions but nothing seems to be working. Input please? Does tcadmin have some sort of built in authorization with America's Army? or what.. Thanks.
ECF
Negative. TCAdmin only starts the game with the commanline you give it. It does not have anythign else to do with the game after that point unless it crashes. I would check your commandlines/configs.
vinc718
Check for what? I have no idea what I'm looking for. Nothing in my config file changed since the last patch. All I did was put new patch files into the AA dir.
studeggle
Do they authorize when you start them from the command line? Unless they do authorize when started from the command line (which I doubt), its not TcAdmin
DougK94
As has been stated for many other problems in the past, try starting it on the desktop outside of TCAdmin by command line. If you get it working there, then all you will need to do is adjust your TCA command line. If it does not, then you have other problems.
adamnp
Make sure the new `ArmyOps.exe` is added to your Firewall exception list, if you have a firewall enabled. If thats doesn't work, I suggest downloading the full download of the game (use the bittorrent, not the utorrent) and reinstalling your files this way, instead of using the patch. Thats how I did it, and we have had no issues.
swish
Add you IP into your AA profile on americasarmy.com This will allow it to be authorized. Usually on version updates the auth system "gets cleaned out" from IP's not in your profile.
