TheHeartSmasher
Just wondering if there were any plans to add some sort of file locking. Let's say there are some files in a specific directory that you do not want the user to edit and or view or allow them to view in tcadmin as read only(message show up while they are reading or the see something next to the file that says RO) Then set them up on a per game bases, also deny the edit or rename ability on certain files for non admins, but allow admins full permissions through tcadmin. ECF
As per the post here: http://clientforums.tcadmin.com/showthread.php?t=2807 We are no longer adding new features to Version 1. However version 2 will an extremely flexible FTP/Filemanager with permissions down to the file level.
TheHeartSmasher
Nice, I hope all goes well, I'll keep a list of features etc. until Version 2 is released. Will you have the TCAdmin Discussion and Feature Requests return once it is released?
ECF
We will be restoring the requests forum once we have the basic elements of version 2 completed. Then we will take it from there.

adamnp
Again though, you can access the machine locally, and make the select files read only, and hidden to prevent this. Althogh you do it manually, it does work.
TheHeartSmasher
Yes but that's a large amount of servers to be done manually , but for the client it gives a nasty error message at times.
