Todd Holley
Put the files in your gameinstalls folder and then use the config posted by ECF in another thread? To get the game files you need to buy the game and upload them.

JasonF
http://www.hivelocity.net The basic server comes with a 2.0ghz processor, 512k ram and a 40gb drive. I am confused on this one. 2 Ghz Celeron? Pentium? Conroe? Pentium D? Woodcrest? RAM = DDR? DDR2? HDD = IDE? SATA? Not very informative IMO. Todd Holley
I am in the process of getting a machine from them. The staff is very helpful and they are very flexible as far as pricing and such. Seems like a fine company to me and pings very well for most of my people on the east coast.
DougK94
But they have an unusual method of setting up their servers with the limited admin access permissions for their ranked games. I am not sure if I would like that. But I have only heard basically good things from people who have used them. Are you able to run TCA on them? If I am not mistaken, they use serverdoc to run the ranked games or any others you ask them to install for you.

Daersun
Honestly I would go Georgia over Florida any day of the week. I have heard good things about colo4jax down there, however their website looks like crap. I am not sure the type of bandwidth they offer. Honestly I would look at georgia, lower power costs better connectivity. Atlanta is now the nations 3rd largest hub for IP traffic. I can DEFIANTLY answer any questions on ANY datacenter here
jbiloh
HiVelocity is excellent for their target market - high availability low quality bandwidth. Such a service is normally meant for high volume websites/file distro, etc. For anyone who is interested, HiVelocity uses Cogent and GlobalCrossing for their connectivity. Like Jordan said, neither are good for latency sensitive application.
