question about remote console

I'm not sure if its just me, here....I use opera as a browser, and it I can close it and re-open it with the websites intact....

 

Tonight my cpu frrooze, and at the time I had a tca remote console open in the system > servers dropdown list.....

 

Well, it popped open again, and connected again.

 

Is there a timeout on this? or is it open forever?
