Problem with the Relative User Files Directory setting

Hello.

I am trying to set the user's home directory on a Counter-Strike Source server to the cstrike directory. In the Relative User Files Directory I have:

/cstrike/

It does correctly set the user's home directory, but the server is creating a new cstrike directory under the pre-existing cstrike directory, and the server.cfg file is not being read.

To simplify (maybe), TCAdmin is being told "/cstrike/cfg/server.cfg" for the cfg path, but since the home directory is already cstrike, is it creating new folders and the resulting path is actually "cstrike/cstrike/cfg/server.cfg."

I hope someone understands what I'm trying to say.

Does anyone know what's up?

Thanks

Let me see if I have this right.

I have a CSS.rar file, that is in C:\GameInstalls. It works great when I don't add cstrike as the relative user's directory.

What you are telling me to do, is to zip the "cstrike" folder and replace "cstrike" folder that in my CSS.rar? So inside my CSS.rar file, I would have all my files and directories and the cstrike.rar file?

If that is the case, it doesn't work for me.

Should my CSS.rar look like this:

bin

hl2

platform

hlds_steamgames.vdf

InstallRecord.blob

srcds.exe

cstrike.rar

Or should it be like this:

bin

cstrike/cstrike.rar

hl2

platform

hlds_steamgames.vdf

InstallRecord.blob

srcds.exe

Lastly, do I have to do this for each game that I want to restrict directory access?

Thanks
