New Game release Broadcast this evening

As some know, NRT/Redline Servers was formed to support and develop the new ARCA Sim Racing game to be released shortly and have stuck to strictly online racing simulation game servers.

 

After 19 months of development, trade shows, public track events at most tracks with the simulators and thousands being able to try out the game in the simulators, to-night will be the 3rd public live streamed event in realtime. (forgot about posting the first 2 here to see)

 

NRT / Redline are the Official server company for this new release, kinda like Pragmatic is for America's Army. The show..races and stats are run off of our equipment as well as the upcoming sanctioned online series. that will run along side the real series weekly and at years end, winner will get a real life development position with one of the teams. This has never been tried before, All car companies as well as track ownership have been aquired making this the first fully sanctioned online simulation ever released.

It looked real good Dave, but at about 60 laps in, the feed froze on me an then when I reconnected, I would get a few frames, freeze for a few minutes, then a few more frames and repeat again.

 

I ran a bit of Papyrus series of games, from the Hawaii days with the $200-300 phone bills . But I have done any racing sims for a few years, but this game might give me the bug again It was nice to see some old names from the past in there again

I had the same problems , I did manage to get a steady stream for about 30 seconds though.

 

Seems like once you get it perfect, you'll attract some attention.

Yes..there was some issues on the broadcast, we gave PSRTV a couple of streaming media servers to use, but they never connected to them. These are new broadcast guys and use to rFactor and Pappy. they do not try to move as much ifo re: textres and polys as this title throws out. and tried to stream at 575..that will not work..but they have to learn to listen...lol.. Dale Jr. and Martin Truex raced it last night and dale came in second behind my NRT sponsored Car...who came in 1st...Carl who is one of us NRT/ Redline came in 4th. But thats what we are up to...testing the streaming and software for issues

 

The chat...500 people tried to connect...hence forth those issues...

Don't we all love this beta testing...lol
