scso1502
Hello guys, I understand the support for the Mani's Admin editor in TCAdmin has been removed. Unfortunately, I still have lots of people, including myself, who love this plug-in and still use it in it's latest form, Version 1.2s. I need very little to support this for basic players, and the advanced ones already know how to manage Mani Admin themselves via FTP. I've chosed to make some of it's basic Mani config files editable via the "Default Config Editor" in TCAdmin. Despite what's been said, the adminlist.txt file still does its job of creating a clients.txt file when it's placed in the cstrike/config/mani_admin_plugin folder. Once the file is placed there and the server is restarted, plug-in will read the adminlist.txt file, create a new clients.txt file and then change the name of the adminlist.txt to adminlist.txt.old. If you really want people to use the TCAdmin Default Config Editor to edit the adminlist.txt.old file and then save it as adminlist.txt, it can be done with the Default Config Editor. They would then just need restart the server and their admins would be updated. I originally thought this wouldn't work but after deleting the settings and setting it up again, it works perfectly. One of the most basic things people need to do with Mani's Admin is to be able to add and change admins, and I love that clients will to be able to do this as I've described instead of having to use an FTP application to do it. I have since added the adminlist editor portion of the Mani Config Editor back into TCAdmin after a support ticket was entered and Luis from TCAdmin Support sent the script to me. Now my clients can do it both ways. Thanks for a great product! Mike Vail BOOM! Servers
ECF
If the adminlist.txt file is the one you want to edit, put in a support ticket and Luis can send you info on how to reactivate the Mani feature.
