Piracy is going to kill the PC gaming market. Personally I see the PC gaming market taking a slow decline for the next several years for a number of reasons, piracy being one of them. Just another reason GSPs should buy the damn games if you plan on hosting it and not downloading torrents.

I agree with you there... We buy all the games we host, I see no reason a ligament company should not. Although there are a lot of kiddie GSP's which do otherwise.. Just shows you more and more why you should go with real, registered companies now days.

 

I wonder what can be done to stop, or make piracy just impossible.. if even that :\

What irks me is they don't realize they are shooting themselves in the foot when they download illegal games and are killing the PC gaming industry.

Maybe we can get lucky and they start getting hit like the lady in Minnesota who downloaded music and got sued for a few million dollars from the music industry.

Or even simpler...Infinity Ward can "pull up the numbers" im sure a few quick clicks deletes or suspends that CD key....time to get workin on that one!

Yeah, I always wondered if they see the accounts online that have been pirated, why not just shut them off or suspend the accounts? Or are they trying to see where/how they got the accounts activated?
