Web1stLine
Hello, I would like to know how it's possible to have on HL1 and HL2 100 tickrate because many people say that they have 66 tick. And also, how it's possible to boost the fps on HL1 and HL2, I think for HL2 it's srcdpsboost but for HL1, what I need to use because I have like 00 of fps when I put 550 fps. boostedg
I would hope you are not renting servers out, because, it seems you have little to no knowledge, but try the following commands. For HL1: +sys_ticrate 1000 For HL2: +fps_max 550 +tickrate 100 And for future reference, there is a thing called "SEARCH" use it, it does wonders

liquid
Yes you have to add all that to the startup command line for your server.
boostedg
in HL1 "+sys_ticrate 1000" will set your fps to 550, since windows has a limit of 550fps HL2 to set the TIC to 100 use "-tickrate 100" and to set fps use "+fps_max 1000" and yes, you have to have a hirestimer, you can search the forums and find a link to download one, i also believe if you go to the knowledgebase on support, there is one listed somewhere in there but put the above commands in the startup command line in the "service settings"

JasonF
See, I knew this command line option was worthless and never put it in my HL2 games. It never works and gives the user a false sense of autoupdating. -autoupdate - The server is searching for updates on startup (Linux/Unix only).
