COD4 Help

Hello I am attempting to create any game server but tcadmin doesn't want to run a game server........ when i click create on console of master computer i get no errors any help would be great thank you

That image is of the file repository(Calls the files and copies them to the userfiles). It would install default to C:\userfiles\USERID\gameservers\tcadminID#\

 

 

Look in the userfiles folder and see if it created a folder in there with the username and if it in fact installed the game to it with the correct directory structure.

I have many times the only one that is working is BF2142....... BF2 doesn't work swat4 doesn't work, COD4 either

Meaning? the COD files are installed or they dont install to the correct location?

okay i got it working direct x wasn't installed : P but now i can't get cod 4 on the browser i've tried changing the server.cfg to this because it was set to the cod2:

set sv_master1 "cod4master.activision.com"

set sv_master2 "cod4authorize.activision.com"

set sv_master3 "cod4master.infinityward.com"

set sv_master3 "cod4update.activision.com"

set sv_master4 "master.gamespy.com:28960"

but it doesn't show up on the games browser still..... any ideas does it take awhile?

Those are not needed in the cfg at all. I't hard coded into cod.

well i put it back deleted the server restarted it and still isn't on the list how long does it usually take to get on that list? and that stats.callofduty.com doesn't work DNS error

Leave it offline for atleast 30 minutes then start.

If you feel a game does not work, stop it, go in to your server by RDP and start it from the gameinstalls folder. Usually it will show the problem.

As soon as the gameinstalls basic config works, created servers will as well.
