FTP, File Transfer, and Extraction

I have a box that just recently ( 3 weeks ago ) stopped letting me install games to it.

It will transfer the file but seems to corrupt it somehow. Or if the file sizes seem correct the minute it goes to extract the file it corrupts it.

I get something similar to this...( just add your own game name because it doesn't matter which it is )

-----------------------------------------------------

GSAutomation.Processes.CreateGameServer: Could not extract game server files from D:\GameInstalls\PBHDTS.rar to D:\UserFiles\John\GameServers\TC58243567541705048072477 Error: CRC error

Server: TC2768657057612 SnM Us 105

Owner: John

I have completely uninstalled TCA from the box....done a thorough cleaning...defrag, scan disk the works....

New install of TCA does the same thing....Before I pull the box and have it shipped to me I want to make sure this is not a TCA problem.

I can transfer files to the server and extract all day long using a standard ftp program.....Radmin has been giving me fits lately but thats another story :oh noes

So in conclusion......any thoughts? ideas? Is this a TCA caused problem or is something wrong with the system itself?

Ok,

there was no filter active for the ftp plugin.

So I activated it and left it set at -1 and upped the total to 10 gig from 5.

It fixed the problem ( Thanks ).

Question tho?

Why were all the other boxes working correctly without the setting being active? Just curious....I know things often do funky azz stuff for no reason other than it can.

But problem solved...and oh for you guys that posted about the ftp not working a lot...I can honestly say that except this one time it works 99.9% of the time. It seems to lose some of it's steam with a large 4 gig or larger file....but chugs along and works ducky.
