UT3 Patch 1.2.....

Does anyone know if this is applicable to just retail version, or if its fine for the dedicated server version as the 1.1 patch was?

edited - The download pages does not say it but when you click the download it looks like the Linux server.

Just noticed, those are the linux files...

 

I'm running windows servers, and the 1.2 patch does say windows, it just doesnt specify whether its retail of server or both.

I just installed the patch and am raring the files. I will let you know if it worked. I would assume just patching over the server install is good enough. When you exe the v1.2 patch it asks to specify a install directory so you can easily do it via remote desktop.

I was just reluctant to install unnecessary files if it was a client side patch only.

 

My hunch is its fine as the 1.1 patch was the same (client & server), but just wasnt 100%.

I patched my server files and entered a username and password in the command line and it worked fine.

I tried to create a patch rar/zip file but the damn update touched 2 GB worth of files unzipped. It may just be easier to just reinstall the entire game server backing up any custom info and server config.
