Guest
Does the software work with non supported games?
ECF
Any game that runs via an executable (.exe) file will have the generic features such as start, stop, filemanager, ftp, subusers, map and mod install, availible to them. You can create any game you wish, along with any command line needed for any game. Perhaps if you post what game you planned on hosting it would help. ECF
A quick Google search provides the answer. http://www.strategyinformer.com/pc/gtr/extra-pack/1580.html GTR has a dedicated server file for it. you will still need the contents from the CD in order to host a server, but you will not need a vid card or CD rom in the drive to host one. You would have the following TCAdmin features if you were to set this game up: 1. Start/Stop 2. FTP Access 3. Filemanager Access 4. Sub Users 5. Quick file links 6. Server graphs showing players, ram and cpu The options you would not have would be the Server status page or rcon option. I would need to take a look further into how to actually host it to be 100% sure, but it looks like a normal dedicated server file system to me. ECF
Here is the dedicated server readme. Looks fairly simple. you can start the server with the +sound command to have it start in hosting mode. And you can edit the ftp file as well.GTR_Dedicated_Readme.txt
