Modifying Gamers Templates

Hello,

 

I take the Gamers templates and I modify all link, all folder, all css, all config and that's don't work.

 

I would like to know why when I change all link and I only keep the images name like header.jpg, footer.jpg ... why the images never load ? It's like if the images doesn't exist ... why ?

 

Somebody can help me ?

I dont understand what your trying to explain?

 

Youve changed an image and it dosent load up? If this is the case, check the url, it may be worth using http://www.whateveryourdomain.com/images/filename.jpg as the image link, and check it loads up from that link first.

 

If not.. explain a bit better and ill try and help.

Ok I take the Gamers templates, I modify each images, config file and css stylesheet. I go in Templates (TCAdmin) upload and I upload my templates (../Upload/Templates) and when I choose my new template each images are like doesn't existing but they are existing.

When i made my TCAdmin template, i linked the files from the intial website, seeing as its based around my website layout. If this is the case, try linking images from your web hosting, see if that does you any good.

I do it. I put in my .config and in my .css images link like http://mydomain.com/templates/header.jpg, footer.jpg and all thing like that and that's don't work. How can I do it ?

Check the properties/Users on the original header.jpg. Then add those users and to the new images, IIS does not like loading anything without the correct permissions.

Right click on the image and select properties. Then the security tab. You will see the users it has associated with it. Click add and add your users to the new image properties security area.

If you read what I posted earlier I said check the properties on the old original header.

I check the properties (security) of the old header (Gamers) and I add the users that my new header don't have so now I have the same properties and it's not working ...
