tcngs
Hello all I have my teamfortres 2 servers set for 66 tick -console -game tf +ip 78.129.175.66 -port 27016 +maxplayers 32 +tv_port 25002 -tickrate 66 +max_fps 550 +exec server.cfg +map pl_goldrush +exec server.cfg -secure but one of my customers has this in his server cfg // start bandwidth rates/settings sv_maxrate 70000 //DONT CHANGE sv_minrate 0 //DONT CHANGE sv_maxupdaterate 76 //DONT CHANGE sv_minupdaterate 10 //DONT CHANGE fps_max 600 //DONT CHANGE decalfrequency 10 //DONT CHANGE sv_maxcmdrate 100 //DONT CHANGE sv_mincmdrate 66 Does the command line setting overide the server config for the tickrate? Thanks
DontWannaName
You mean FPS, no. The CMD line overrides fps and tickrate cannot be changed from a cfg.
Monk
fps_max should be a power of 2.
JasonF
Go in game and find out what the server's fps is. rcon_password XXXXXXX rcon stats
WR-Rob
The server config will not change the "command line" tickrate setting. No matter what the server config and user config e.g. cl_updaterate 100, cl_cmdrate 100, the user will still only recieve 66tr as set by the server.
