Redeye
I'm looking into a replacement of MB5 and currently test WHMCS. Nice, but I have some questions, which this is one of them. I have posted this on the forum of whmcs but I did not got this question answered, maybe someone here does know. "When a client upgrades, using: Options Upgrades, it is not provisioned. Is this correct?"
nosit1
I'm curious about this too.
Johnny5_Hull
As far as I am aware it does.... We did some testing when we first moved from MB to WHMCS, and as far as I remember it did do it. I'm sure a quick test will answer your question for deffinite though.
Redeye
We've switched a few weeks ago, and we are pleased, no more MB b*llshit. The upgrade is not provisioned, and several other options cannot be passed to TCA, but we are very pleased with this progress.
ECF
What options cannot be passed to our software?
Johnny5_Hull
I think he is referring to when a client upgrades their slot count or or other similar variable. WHMCS names them "configurable Options". Essentially if a client buys a 12 slot server, that is what is provisioned, but if they then Upgrade that configurable option, it has to be manually changed within TCA. The same goes for any other option, such as private/not private, branded/not branded etc etc. I though it did do it manually, obviously I was confused
Steve-TGM
Were still messing with the config files. Were able to make TeamSpeak servers private or not private. But the rest is correct, no way to upgrade or downgrade packages. Thats a manual function atm.
