when i create game the server config is blank in the created game i have left the server.cfg empty in the install files and nothing in the instaled files server.cfg

 

 

 

 

 

i put test in the game install files se if it could write to the folder ok and it did

 

 

 

 

 

it just does not fill any of the server config files on creation on the game install

And you have a config set in the template file for CS Source game config within the panel?

 

 

 

Also double check your path to the server.cfg file in the game config as well?

If i have a template config file in the game settings will this overwrite the exisitng server.cfg file if there is one in the game files?

Yes it will if you are creating a new game server. You can change the contents of the template file will your own if you like in the game config.

I have just been given access and we were not utilising the panel as much as we should have. I was just concerned that if i altered the config template that it would not create the game server with that template if there was already a config file with the server files.

If there is a trmplate file specified in the game config, it will overwrite what is already there.
