Does "Interact with desktop" influence higher CPU load?

Probably does a little bit yep.

Running anything interactively on a remotely hosted box is a bad idea, especially if you leave the desktop logged in, if someone gains access to the box remotely and you're logged on with admin rights, they can do what they want to your system.
